What really affects the cost
1) Volume & weight
The more we remove (and the heavier it is), the more tipping and labour costs rise. Bagged waste and stacked items load faster and cost less.
2) Access & parking
Stairs, long carries, or restricted parking add time. If you can reserve a parking space close to the door, it keeps prices down.
3) Item types & recycling
- General household items load quickly.
- WEEE/appliances (fridges, freezers, TVs) and mattresses often carry recycling surcharges.
- Green waste is usually cheaper per volume.
4) Sorting & reuse
We separate recyclables and reusables to reduce landfill. Sorting time is included in your quote.
5) Timing
Same-day and tight windows are available. If you’re flexible on time, we can sometimes group jobs to lower the cost.
6) Location
We cover Central Scotland—travel time across areas can change the quote slightly (see areas below).
